R . A . L . P . H

RESPECT .ADAPT. LISTEN. PAUSE .HELP

R.A.L.P.H (Respect, adapt, listen, pause, help) is a 6 week SEL (social emotional learning) program aligned to the CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning) Framework that is delivered as a training resource in schools for Wellbeing teams, Education aids, Teachers, Chaplins and other practitioners working with primary aged children.

The program has been developed around the needs and wellbeing of children for SEL with evidence based outcomes, working with frameworks and play based approaches that build capacity in young people by integrating skills through the CASEL 5 core competences for SEL.

Healing the Beat delivers the R.A.L.P.H program to primary aged students to create greater opportunities to learn and practice social skills such as:

  • Cooperation with others

  • Managing conflict

  • Creating healthy relationships

  • Resilience and;

  • Recognising and managing their own feelings

By working directly with the children and providing a fun and sensory experience, practitioners are able to participate in a more hands on training environment and adapt the program and resources to continue to use the SEL skillset to a whole school approach or continued as an elective program for their students.

Healing the Beat has facilitated the RALPH program in
